JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit Sets August 2026 Launch

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit will launch worldwide, excluding Japan, on Aug 13, 2026, bringing six generations of JoJo characters to iOS and Android. Hoolai Game Limited developed the free-to-play role-playing game (RPG) with KLab Games and Wanda Cinemas Games.

Pre-registration has crossed 2M, unlocking an SR Joseph Joestar reward.

The English closed beta ran from May 15-29 in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and France. The official campaign recorded milestones at 50K, 200K, 500K, 1M, 1.5M, and 2M registrations, with rewards including 200K coins, 20 Stones of Destiny, 600 Astrogems, two Extreme Trial Keys, and 10 Uncharted Fate cards.

Golden Spirit Uses Grid Combat and Dynamic Weather

Golden Spirit uses an 11-panel strategy grid built around Wit for matchup counterplay and combat for character skill synergies. RUSH attacks combine ultimate skills across three battle styles, while 18 environments feature weather effects such as sandstorms, rain, and heavy snow that affect stats and abilities.

Players can collect R, SR, and SSR characters from Phantom Blood through Stone Ocean, then develop them through Stand awakening, skill enhancement, gear forging, and character ascension. The game also features PvE story stages, World Bosses, ranked PvP, Live2D, 3D models, and 360-degree Stand attacks. Yugo Kanno, a renowned Japanese composer and musician, composed original music for the game.

Apple lists a 1.9 GB download, iOS 13 requirement, loot boxes, 9+ rating, and in-app purchases. Meanwhile, Google Play lists ads, in-app purchases, a 12+ rating, and a collection of app-performance and device-or-ID data.

Pre-registration is available on both platforms through the official site ahead of the August 2026 release.
