Roblox’s Creator Economy Sets New Records in 2025
The impressive earnings emerged alongside a sharp increase in platform-wide payouts, with creator earnings via Roblox’s Developer Exchange (DevEx) program topping $1 billion globally for the year. More than 100 developers reportedly earned over $1 million, and data suggests the top 1,000 took home nearly $820,000 each on average. These numbers reinforce how game development and world-building inside Roblox have become increasingly lucrative occupations, often outpacing traditional game studios and other gig platforms.
