Scopely has launched MONOPOLY GO!Chat, a standalone mobile app designed to centralize communication for Monopoly Go! players. The platform is now available worldwide after a soft launch in France, offering a dedicated space for players to coordinate, connect, and strategize outside the main game. The rollout was confirmed on March 31, 2026.
The app enables direct one-on-one conversations and group chats with up to 20 friends. It launches without in-app purchases (IAPs) or advertisements, and additional features are planned in future updates.
Scopely said separating chat from gameplay allows for “a more reliable technical experience” without competing demands on the core game environment.
Scopely recently surpassed $15 billion USD in total portfolio revenue, driven largely by Monopoly Go! The game generated more than $6B in player spending earlier this year and often brings in around $200M per month.
MONOPOLY GO!Chat Adds Team Coordination and Direct Messaging
The standalone platform is positioned as a dedicated space for social play.
Players can communicate directly with friends, use Monopoly Go!-themed emojis, and switch quickly between Monopoly Go! and the chat app. Scopely reported that direct communication had become one of the most-requested features as the community expanded, prompting the move to a separate messaging destination.

The app also supports coordinated gameplay during multiplayer experiences such as Tycoon Racers. Teammates can use dedicated chats to adjust strategies in real time, improving collaboration during events.
The interface mirrors Monopoly Go!’s visual style while incorporating messaging features tailored for team-based play.
