BTS Tampa Concerts Draw 190K Fans as Busan Shows Sell Out!

BTS pairs record-breaking demand in Tampa Bay with a symbolic Busan return, magnifying global fan momentum beyond any usual tour cycle.

  • BTS’ comeback concert sees 190,000 attendees in Tampa alone, proving their global pull remains intact even after a hiatus.
  • The Arirang World Tour could potentially rival Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, one of the biggest concert tours in the history of the music industry.
  • The sold-out Busan shows will be held alongside BTS’ anniversary, transforming into a symbolic, high-impact cultural event.

The roar at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, this week was more than just a concert. It was strong proof showcasing that the four-year hiatus had not dampened BTS’ influence. There was a total of 190,000 people in attendance for over three nights, as the septet launched the North American leg of their Arirang world tour. Alongside the songs from their latest album Arirang, the group also performed to the tunes of MIC Drop and Fake Love

BTS Arirang Tour Built to Rival the Biggest in History?

The scale of the tour, which began earlier this month in Goyang, South Korea (April 9 to 11), with three sold-out nights, is unprecedented. The tour is expected to be one of the largest tours ever by any global act, which could even rival Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

BTS’ Arirang World Tour will span 85 shows across 34 global cities. While in North America, the group has already locked in 31 sold-out dates across 12 cities. Future stops in the North American leg include Mexico City, Stanford, and Las Vegas.

As the Tampa Bay concerts conclude, BTS will now move towards El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium in Texas for shows on May 2 and 3. Notably, this will be the first time for any Korean act to perform in this iconic venue.

Busan Shows Sell Out, Anniversary Stakes Rise

While the group has already set out to conquer the West, the bubble of anticipation back home is also about to break. As reported by the Korea Times, every ticket for the forthcoming June 12–13 shows at Busan Asiad Main Stadium has been sold out during the presale window open till Thursday (April 30, 2026).

The timing of the Busan show is extremely significant, as its second night coincides with the group’s debut anniversary. Therefore, the Busan concert will no longer remain just a normal concert show, but will be transformed into a high-stakes homecoming. Notably, the June 13 show in Busan will also be showcased live-streamed in theaters.

In India, fans will also be able to attend the theatrical concert in PVR Inox halls. The live shows screenings for Goyang and Japan, ended with a notice confirming another date is scheduled in June. The recent Weverse notice released on April 13, 2026, about the Busan concert hints at India’s theoretical release of the Busan concert as well.

Busan’s Symbolic Homecoming Meets Citywide BTS Takeover

BTS’ return to Busan is quite deeply symbolic. The group, which is home to team members Jimin and Jungkook, had last performed in the city three years and eight months ago. The performance was for the city’s World Expo bid, which also acted as their final full-member appearance before the commencement of their obligatory military duties.

Additionally, the city is getting decked for the BTS: The City experience, which was last seen in Seoul and will be seen in Las Vegas as well. The experience will have a themed festival running from June 5 to 21 to accommodate the influx of fans worldwide.

The Arirang tour is breaking records even before it reaches other tour-scheduled cities. As the North American leg speeds up, the industry isn't just observing a concert series but watching a successful recalibration of the global entertainment economy.
