Highlights
- Muse Asia is streaming all four seasons of Attack on Titan for free across select Asian markets.
- The YouTube rollout bypasses subscription-only OTT platforms, making Attack on Titan more accessible in India and South Asia.
- Muse Asia’s strategy reflects a broader shift toward legal, ad-supported anime streaming in Asia.
Marking a notable shift in anime distribution strategy, the full Attack on Titan (AOT) series, including Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4 (final season), is now available to watch for free on Muse Asia’s official YouTube channel across Asia. All episodes are streaming with English subtitles and original Japanese audio.
The channel is also running a live marathon (New Year Marathon) of the final season, making highly sought-after episodes available without any subscription fees. The rollout expands on Muse Asia’s December 2025 launch of AOT season 1 streaming, which initially made early episodes accessible to audiences in Nepal, Bhutan, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei.
Since then, the playlist has been expanded to encompass larger portions of the narrative arc, including the full second season and third season up to episode 10 by January 2026. The upcoming episodes will be released at 5:30 pm IST, every day.
The full AOT playlist is reported to have 103 videos in total, meaning it will have all four seasons, including specials. Muse Asia’s move effectively places Attack on Titan into a free, legally licensed distribution channel that reaches a broad Asian audience via YouTube, bypassing traditional subscription-locked platforms. The initiative is also garnering strong engagement, with over 268K views recorded within one month on YouTube.
Muse Asia’s Free Streaming and Regional Availability of Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan, based on Hajime Isayama’s original manga, is one of the most significant anime IPs of modern times. The anime started airing in 2013 and ended in 2023. During its ten-year run, the series has won multiple domestic and international awards, including AstraTV Awards in 2024 (the first anime series to win), Animation of the Year in 2014, and the inaugural Global Impact Award in 2025.
Despite its immense cultural and critical success, AOT’s streaming has been staggered. Prominent streaming platforms, such as Netflix, Prime Video, and the like, have occasionally streamed the anime in specific regions. In India, the anime is currently only available on Crunchyroll, and is streaming in parts on Prime Video— season 2 and 3 in full, and only two parts of season 4 (Prime has divided the final season across three parts).
In India and South Asia, Attack on Titan’s availability for free will make the popular title available to a wider audience. The YouTube rollout frees the audience from the stipulation of subscribing to multiple OTT platforms for access.
Beyond Attack on Titan, Muse Asia has streamed other major series free in India and across Asia, such as One Punch Man, Spy x Family, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, underscoring a trend toward open-access viewing via digital platforms.
Muse Asia, a regional arm of Taiwanese anime licensor Muse Communication that holds rights for more than 30 notable anime titles, has steadily expanded its YouTube distribution since 2019, offering legal streaming with English subtitles across Asian markets. The company has also been actively licensing anime movies for theatrical rollout across Asia, increasing the availability of this popular Japanese media and audience.
