The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) and the Nepal Esports Association (NESA) have jointly unveiled the India vs Nepal Showdown (MOBA Legends), scheduled for Feb 20-22, 2026. ESFI released the circuit details on Feb 18 with a prize pool of 50K Diamonds, premium in-game currency of MOBA Legends.
Announced via official federation channels, the three-day event pits national representatives from India and Nepal against each other in MOBA Legends. The initiative is a competitive platform designed to strengthen grassroots esports engagement while spotlighting emerging esports talents in both countries.
Participating Teams in the India vs Nepal MOBA Legends Showdown
The tournament is reported to be in the standard five-vs-five (5v5) format. So far, ESFI has revealed three teams from each country, including iQOO S8UL from India. ESFI highlighted S8UL is “built for pressure moments and big stages,” to underscore their consistent dominance in the esports landscape.
The other two participants from India are also from the top three of ESFI National Grind (MOBA Legends). Following S8UL, iQOO RNTX, and Sleep Tight Lineup have joined the roster. From Nepal, HORA ESPORTS, TDP, and September IX (SRIX) have joined the competitive field.
As per the announcement, the MOBA Legends tournament offers tiered rewards across placements. The Champions team will receive 20K diamonds, the First Runner Up 12K, and the Second Runner Up 8K. The fourth ranked team will get 5K diamonds, while the fifth and sixth place holders receive 3K and 2K diamonds, respectively.
ESFI has previously included the title in its National Grind Series in November 2025. The events arrive as mobile esports continues to dominate South Asia’s gaming landscape. India’s esports ecosystem is expanding steadily across titles such as Moba Legends, Free Fire MAX, and BGMI. With the India-Nepal Showdown, the federation is willing to expand beyond domestic tournaments, enhancing India’s esports footprint across South Asia.
