BGMS Season 4 Returns with Bigger Prizes and New Format
A major addition this year is the Battlegrounds Mobile India Challenger Series (BGCS), serving as the official amateur feeder league into the pro-level BGMS. The BGCS features 24 teams, including two from campus qualifiers, one from TVS Raider Wicked Battles, 17 invited squads, and notably, four all-women teams. This marks a historic step towards gender inclusivity in India’s esports ecosystem. Matches from the Challenger series stream daily on the NODWIN Gaming YouTube channel from noon to 3 PM.
“BGMS has grown into the marquee esports tournament of India and is now a cultural movement that reflects the passion, energy, and limitless potential of our gaming community. Season 4 takes this vision further by championing inclusivity at every level, from campus qualifiers and grassroots challengers to professional athletes and all-women teams on national television. Our goal has always been to create a platform where every gamer, regardless of background, has a real path to greatness,” said Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming.
The tournament’s title sponsorship continues with OnePlus, which also powers the campus qualifiers initiative. Android remains the co-title sponsor for its second consecutive year, while other key sponsors include Swiggy as the Official Food Delivery Partner, Bisleri as Official Hydration Partner, TVS Motor Company as Official Mobility Partner, Duolingo English Test as Official Learning Partner, and Red Bull returning for a second season.
With live broadcasts on Star Sports Khel and JioHotstar, BGMS Season 4 holds the distinction of being the only Indian esports tournament to air on national television during prime time. The event spans multiple weeks, showcasing fierce competition among India’s best Battlegrounds Mobile India players, while providing fresh visibility for the growing esports landscape.
This season’s renewed focus on inclusivity, new competitive formats, and strengthened partnership ecosystem signals continued growth for Indian esports amid rising global and domestic interest.
