India’s premier esports powerhouse, S8UL, is taking its grandest leap yet. The organization has officially unveiled its massive, multi-genre competitive lineup across 12 diverse titles for the highly anticipated Esports World Cup 2026. Set to kick off on July 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the campaign is headlined by the major signing of Indian Chess Grandmaster Pranesh M. With this roster, S8UL is ready to stake its claim on a historic $75 million USD prize pool at a global event gathering over 2,000 players from more than 100 countries.

Operating as an elite member of the Esports World Cup Foundation's 40-team Club Partner Program for the second consecutive year, S8UL is aggressively expanding its horizons. Stepping far beyond its roots as a mobile-first organization, this new expansive campaign stretches across PC, console, mobile, and mind sports. By blending international stars with top homegrown talent, it marks the largest global campaign ever undertaken by an Indian esports team.

A major highlight of S8UL’s 2026 push is its targeted investment in strategy and mind sports. By officially signing Grandmaster Pranesh M, S8UL has formed a formidable intellectual squad alongside prominent fellow Grandmasters Nihal Sarin and Aravindh Chithambaram. As Chess returning to the World Cup with a dedicated $1.5M prize pool, S8UL now boasts some of the highest-ranked Indian players in the Champions Chess Tour standings, making them a strong contender for a podium finish.

Addressing this massive organizational shift, S8UL co-founder Naman ‘Mortal’ Mathur shared his vision for the global stage: “The Esports World Cup, with its scale of competition, diversity of titles, and quality of teams involved, is the biggest stage in competitive gaming. For us at S8UL, esports is no longer viewed through the lens of a single game or region, which is why we have built rosters that combine international stars with top talent from India,” as per Beebom.

Championship-Winning Core Squads & Shooter Divisions

On the traditional esports front, the organization has retained its championship-winning core squads to lead the charge. The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) team features familiar star talent in Thunder, Goblin, Jokerr, NakuL, and LEGIT. Meanwhile, the Apex Legends trio of Sharky, Jesko, and Legacy enters the tournament riding high on the momentum of a recent Top 5 finish. S8UL's shooter and battle royale divisions are further fortified by Call of Duty: Warzone players Knight, Clumziy, and Rxul, right alongside the formidable Fortnite duo of Faded and Kaan.

In a groundbreaking move for the regional grassroots scene, S8UL has also built a powerful fighting games division through a pioneering Talent Hunt Program. This initiative allowed them to handpick and support Indian athletes as they stepped onto the world stage. S8UL will proudly field Tetsu, Soul, AK Arhaan, and Weak Akuma in Tekken 8. Alongside the new group, players of Closing Regent, B Haunt, and Prince will represent the organization in both Street Fighter 6 and the classic Fatal Fury franchise, as reported by Beebom

Rounding out this massive undertaking, S8UL is hitting the virtual pitch, the racing circuits, and the MOBA arenas. The team is fielding Krusher, Jonny, and Fouma in EA Sports FC, while Whizzy, Spark, and Neal will take the wheel in Trackmania. Their mobile MOBA presence is equally heavy, featuring a combined roster of Darkness, Meruem, Xtreme, XesoL, Kyurem, Kael, Doffy, and Kong in Honor of Kings, alongside Bobe, Radium, Anti, J, Apex, and Ronn representing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) 5v5.

As the countdown to Riyadh begins, S8UL is ready to prove its status among the global esports elite. Through this ambitious, multi-genre push, they are making it clear they are a versatile powerhouse ready to elevate India's presence on the world map.
