Everything Revealed at the India Games Showcase 2026

The India Games Showcase returned as part of Summer Game Fest, spotlighting upcoming projects from developers across the country. The presentation featured everything from action RPGs and narrative adventures to racing games, platformers, horror titles, and cozy simulators.

Hosted with appearances from several Indian content creators and industry personalities, the event highlighted both established studios and first-time developers. From the return of Raji to new reveals such as Rakshasa and Palm Sugar: A Village Story, the showcase offered one of the broadest looks yet at India's growing game development scene.

Raji: Kaliyuga

Nodding Heads Games returned with another look at Raji: Kaliyuga, the follow-up to Raji: An Ancient Epic. Chromadi

The retro-inspired shooter Chromadi made an appearance with its colorful arcade action. Players take control of the Chroma Crew as they battle enemies across vibrant environments in an effort to restore color to the fading world of Chromara.

Palm Sugar: A Village Story

Set in the village of Bellampakam, Palm Sugar: A Village Story focuses on a local struggle against a powerful drug cartel. The narrative-driven project follows Srinu as he attempts to reclaim his home and protect the people around him.

Aikyam

Aikyam blends fantasy RPG mechanics with Bollywood-inspired storytelling. The game features turn-based battles, a colorful world filled with secrets, and a central quest focused on protecting the village that gives the game its name.

Appa

Rather than focusing on combat, Appa explores themes of grief, memory, and family through a narrative card-battling system. Two siblings confront emotional challenges while strategic duels serve as the foundation for the story's progression.

Abashed

Abashed follows Issac, a man living with psychosis who is searching for answers surrounding his missing partner. The side-scrolling narrative adventure mixes psychological storytelling with surreal imagery as players confront fears, memories, and uncertainty.

Farsight

A routine eye examination becomes something far more disturbing in Farsight. The first-person horror game leads the player into exploring increasingly unsettling environments while attempting to uncover the truth behind a strange medical facility.
