Pokémon UNITE WCS 2026 India Qualifier Format and Schedule
The competition begins with a two-day open single-elimination stage. The top eight teams from that phase will advance to a double-elimination playoff bracket on the final day to determine the national winner.
The qualifier also continues India’s run in the international circuit since 2022. Previous representatives have included S8UL, Revenant Esports, and FS Esportz, showing sustained participation from the country in past editions.

Skyesports
Skyesports CEO and founder, Shiva Nandy, stated Pokémon UNITE continues to provide Indian players with a direct path to the global stage. He added that the 2026 edition will be the fifth time an Indian team has reached the World Championship Series, reflecting “the consistency of the ecosystem and the hunger of our players to perform internationally.”
With qualification tied directly to the regional winner, the tournament gives Indian teams a defined route to one of Pokémon UNITE’s biggest events. It also adds another benchmark for India’s mobile esports scene, where few titles beyond BGMI currently command major competitive attention. Even Free Fire, one of the most popular games among youth audiences, along with most PC esports properties, is seeing comparatively lower mainstream momentum.
