Highlights

  • Rainbow Six Mobile launches globally on February 23, 2026, after beta tests, a soft launch, and a seven-month hiatus.
  • The launch includes seven maps and 20+ operators, including the mobile-exclusive Restaurant and Summit.
  • Lifetime revenue reaches $1.1M, with soft launch spending peaking at $197K in July 2025.

Rainbow Six Mobile is now live worldwide as of February 23, 2026, concluding a lengthy development cycle. That process included beta tests, a regional soft launch, a seven-month hiatus, and a structured roadmap to release. Ubisoft’s tactical five-on-five shooter expands the Rainbow Six franchise onto mobile following nearly three years of iteration.

At the global launch, the game includes seven maps, featuring Clubhouse and Villa alongside mobile-exclusive maps, Restaurant and Summit.

Meanwhile, players can choose from more than 20 operators, up from 16 during the soft launch. Modes include Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch, with ranked, private, and quick play options available.

Ubisoft states the release delivers “5v5 tactical multiplayer with classic attacker vs. defender gameplay.” The game also includes operator progression, customization, and seasonal content optimized for mobile devices.

Rainbow Six Mobile Revenue, Roadmap, and Testing Timeline

Rainbow Six Mobile previously held two beta tests in June and July 2023. The soft launch began in Canada in August 2023 and later expanded to Mexico and Colombia.

In March 2024, Ubisoft paused content updates to address gameplay issues, adjust graphics settings, fix bugs, and refine progression systems. Select servers remained active, though most of the year passed without new content.

The hiatus ended in November 2024 with an overhaul of game modes, progression, and in-game economies. Ubisoft then introduced a three-phase roadmap: a technical test, an engagement test, and a commissioning stage leading to global launch.

According to AppMagic, January 2025 marked the first month in which in-game revenue surpassed $40K, followed by more than $80K in February.

However, soft launch revenue later peaked at $197K in July 2025 before stabilizing near $70K per month. February 2026 revenue currently stands at $60K, with lifetime earnings totaling $1.1M.

In a launch message, Ubisoft noted, “After years of development, testing, feedback, early builds, clutch plays, and community passion, Rainbow Six Mobile is officially LIVE worldwide.” It described the release as the milestone the project had been working toward.

The studio framed the launch as the outcome of sustained testing cycles and player input across its development phases.
