Highlights
- Roblox now supports Hindi across its platform, Creator Hub, and Roblox Studio.
- Automatic Hindi translation covers in-game strings, game names, products, and descriptions.
- Hindi SEO support improves content discovery, while chat translation is planned for the future.
Roblox has added Hindi support across its platform, Creator Hub, and Roblox Studio. The update, introduced on June 25, 2026, expands access for millions of Hindi-speaking users and creators. Hindi is now one of 17 languages supported on Roblox.
The rollout provides a localized interface and automatic Hindi translation. It currently covers in-game strings, game names, game products, and descriptions. This gives creators a simpler way to make their content accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences.
"Language shouldn't be a barrier to creativity," Roblox India Managing Director, Sunil Rao, stated. He described the integration as one of the company's first initiatives toward deeper localization in India. It also forms part of its strategy to support the country's gaming and creator ecosystem.
Users can switch languages by going to Settings > Account Info > Language. They can then select Hindi and save the change.
Roblox’s Hindi SEO Expands Content Discovery
Roblox has also introduced Hindi search engine optimization (SEO) support. Language-specific platform, asset, and experience links can now be indexed by search engines. This is designed to make Roblox content and resources easier to discover through Hindi searches.
Roblox further plans to add Hindi support for chat translation in the future. The feature would extend its language support to communication between users.
The rollout marks an early step in Roblox's India localization strategy. By covering the platform, automatic translation, creator tools, and search visibility, the company is widening how Hindi-speaking users can discover, access, and create content.
