Solo Leveling Season 2: Pocket FM English Audio Drama Out Feb 16

The long wait for more Solo Leveling content is finally coming to an end. In a massive update for the global fanbase, Season 2 of the hit series is set to premiere worldwide on February 16, 2026, exclusively as an English audio drama on Pocket FM. This release isn't just a simple audiobook reading; it is being billed as a full-scale, premium production designed to bridge the gap for fans eagerly awaiting news on the anime's third season. The production value for this season is a major talking point, headlined by voice acting titan Yuri Lowenthal taking on the mantle of Sung Jinwoo. 

Known for iconic roles like Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto and Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man, Lowenthal brings a familiar gravitas to the E-Rank hunter. Pocket FM, in partnership with Soundist Entertainment, has crafted an "authentic adaptation" of creator Chugong’s original web novel. The goal is to match the intense vocal performances of the Crunchyroll anime while delivering a cinematic sound design that places listeners right in the middle of the dungeon raids.

Lalit Gangwar, SVP and Head of US at Pocket FM, highlighted the unique nature of this format in a press statement. He noted that Solo Leveling stands as one of the most influential fantasy IPs of its generation and expressed excitement about listeners experiencing the world in a form where their imagination shapes the pace and intensity.

A spokesperson for Soundist Entertainment added that they aim to "open a new horizon for audio," describing the project as a "visualization of sound" intended to deliver an experience even more profound than the visual world.

Netflix Live-Action and Solo Leveling: Karma

This immersive audio arrives at a perfect time for the community. It can fill the void left by the Ragnarok webcomic sequel, which remains on hiatus due to the artist's military service, and offers fresh content while the anime production continues. It is also landing during a busy period for gamers; players of Solo Leveling: Arise are currently grinding through the "Sweet Check-In Event" through March, claiming daily rewards and Custom Draw Tickets. 

With the new project releasing, they have a high-fidelity drama to tune into while tackling those daily quests. The audio drama format is already booming, having clocked over 648,000 plays (via ScreenRant), proving the appetite for the Shadow Monarch’s journey extends well beyond traditional screens. 

The expansion of the Solo Leveling universe shows no signs of slowing down. Beyond the audio drama, the franchise is evolving into a multimedia giant. A live-action TV drama is currently in production for Netflix, with a star-studded cast confirmed: Byeon Woo-seok is set to star as Sung Jinwoo, with Han So-hee as Cha Hae-in, and Kang You Seok joining as Yoo Jin-ho. Additionally, Netmarble has confirmed an open-world game, Solo Leveling: Karma, slated for late 2026.
