BTS’ flagship variety show is returning with its next edition. Run BTS 2.0 is scheduled to premiere on April 7, 2026. On March 30, the K-pop group released a teaser video on YouTube, discussing the content ideas for Run BTS 2.0 and announcing the return after a special episode in 2023.
Run BTS, first produced in 2015, generated approximately 300M views on YouTube. Run BTS 2.0 will also premiere on YouTube’s Bangtan TV channel at 9 PM KST, while streaming on Weverse.
The announcement closely aligns with BTS’ comeback after four years and continues creating hype around the band’s activity. The band recently held the BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang concert, along with releasing its Billboard chart-topping fifth album Arirang.
Now that BTS is also preparing for its upcoming world tour, Run BTS 2.0 would offer a behind-the-spotlight peek into the lives of the seven band members. However, Run BTS is not the only show that has traced BTS’ journey over the years; it started with Rookie King in 2013.
These 10 BTS reality shows and movies highlight more than a decade of BTS’ journey to become a global sensation from a rookie boy band.
