Level Infinite will soft launch Gangstar Mirage City in India on Aug 20, 2026. The free-to-play (FTP) multiplayer open-world action RPG will arrive on iOS and Android, with pre-registration now available through the official website.
The rollout covers Southeast Asia, South Asia, MENA, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. The title expands Gameloft's Gangstar franchise, which debuted in 2006 and has recorded more than 340M registered players across over eight major games.
Gangstar Mirage City Puts Multiplayer at its Core
Set in a near-future metropolis, the game combines narrative content with open-world exploration and player-driven systems. Districts range from high-tech urban centers to rugged outskirts. Players can collect and modify vehicles, customize weapons, complete cooperative heists, compete in races, and control territory to generate income and influence.
Multiplayer PvP arenas feature team-based vehicle combat, last-player-standing matches, and objective-driven battles. New modes and battlefields are also planned for solo players and crews.
The 18+ title will feature English voiceover and support nine text languages:
- English
- Arabic
- Thai
- Russian
- Indonesian
- Tagalog
- Turkish
- Latin American Spanish
- Brazilian Portuguese
The Global Vault Heist pre-registration campaign unlocks in-game items as signup milestones are reached. Players can join O-Rage, The Family, The Ghosts, or Jersey Boyz, with each faction offering a unique avatar reward. Recruiting up to three friends provides additional bonuses.

Level Infinite
Level Infinite says low minimum hardware requirements and a lightweight initial download will help the game run across a wider range of mobile devices. This could give Gangstar Mirage City broader reach when it enters the Indian market.
However, the 20-year-old franchise will face competition for player attention. India's mobile gaming audience remains heavily engaged with battle royale titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), while MOBAs including Moba Legends: 5v5! and Honor of Kings (HoK) are pushing for traction through localization. HoK, for instance, has introduced India-focused content, including Indian characters.
Gangstar Mirage City will instead compete with its multiplayer open-world format, making the August soft launch an early test of whether the franchise can establish an audience in India.
