GamingCon to Promote Creator-Led Esports
The event features two separate competitions: a Jio Solo Tournament exclusive to Jio users, and an open Team Tournament that allows squads from across India to challenge the All Stars. The latter is a lineup of top gaming creators, including Payal Gaming, Shreeman Legend, Soul Regaltos, and Snax Gaming.
Registrations are live on the JioGames app until November 14, inviting aspiring gamers to compete and team up with their favourite creators.
The live event promises a premium esports experience with professional production, live shoutcasting, fan meet-and-greets, and exclusive creator-driven content, both on-site and online. This format pioneers a new era of competitive entertainment in India by transforming audiences into active participants, blending esports competition with content creation culture.
JioBLAST is a joint venture between Jio, BLAST, and RISE Worldwide Limited, combining Jio’s massive digital reach, BLAST’s global esports production expertise, and RISE’s leadership in sports and event management. Their collaboration targets building India’s most scalable and engaging esports intellectual property ecosystem.
With India’s gaming market rapidly expanding, and policy initiatives like the Online Gaming Bill 2025 supporting industry growth, JioBLAST’s entry signals a significant step toward establishing India as a global esports powerhouse. The event’s INR 10 lakh prize pool and high-profile creator participation are set to drive strong engagement and growth among India’s next wave of esports fans.
