Everything Shown at Summer Game Fest Showcase 2026

Summer Game Fest 2026 delivered one of the most stacked showcases in the event's history. Over the course of the show, dozens of games were revealed, dated, and detailed, ranging from long-awaited sequels to genuinely surprising announcements.

From Final Fantasy VII Revelation to Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, there are some highly anticipated titles to look forward to. Here is everything that was shown, working through the full lineup with the details you need to know.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation

Release Date: Spring 2027

The third entry in Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy has been officially subtitled Revelation, and it is coming Spring 2027 simultaneously to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the game's theme is "resolve." New mechanics include a skydiving system that lets players leap from Cid's airship and land on the ground below without a loading screen. Characters will also be able to equip new clothes and armor that affect their combat stats.

Stellar Blade: Blood Rain

Release Date: TBA

Shift Up announced a sequel to Stellar Blade, currently in development. Titled Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, the game introduces a new protagonist named Evie, who fights with her fists rather than a blade. No release date or window was given.

Street Fighter 6: Year 4

Release Date: August 3, 2026 onwards (staggered)

Year 4 of Street Fighter 6 content was detailed. Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII is joining the roster in Early 2027, alongside newcomers Yasmine on August 3, Arjun in Autumn 2026, and Bosch from the game's World Tour mode in Spring 2027.

The Wolf Among Us 2 and The Wolf Among Us Remastered

Release Date: 2027 (The Wolf Among Us 2) / Holiday 2026 (Remastered)

Telltale's long-delayed The Wolf Among Us 2 is confirmed for a 2027 launch window. A remaster of the original game arrives this holiday season.

The Blood of Dawnwalker

Release Date: September 3, 2026

The current Game Informer cover game received a new trailer confirming a September 3, 2026, release date. The trailer teases that protagonist Coen's story will extend beyond 14th-century Europe, taking him to various corners of the world beyond the game's opening setting of Vale Sangora.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance Expansion

Release Date: 2027

Capcom revealed the first expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds, titled Ascendance, launching sometime in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The expansion introduces a land above the clouds, new abilities, Master Rank hunts, and the return of Elder Dragons.

Attack on Titan 3

Release Date: 2026 (Steam page confirmed)

A third Attack on Titan game is in development and is targeting a 2026 launch based on its Steam page. Unlike Attack on Titan 2, which only covered the story through Season 2, the new game will depict the series all the way through to its climactic finale. New details are set to arrive on July 1.

Star Wars Zero Company

Release Date: August 27, 2026

The single-player tactics game received a new trailer and an August 27 release date. The trailer included the first in-game look at Anakin Skywalker alongside new gameplay footage. Launches on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer

Release Date: October 6, 2026

Pod racing is back. Star Wars: Galactic Racer got a full trailer and a confirmed October 6, 2026 release date.

Control Resonant

Release Date: September 24, 2026

Remedy's standalone Control follow-up received another trailer alongside its previously confirmed September 24 release date. Game Informer's hands-on preview came away enthusiastic about what the studio has built.

Guild Wars 3

Release Date: Beta Fall 2027

ArenaNet announced Guild Wars 3 for PC and PS5, with a beta coming Fall 2027. The long-awaited third entry in the MMORPG franchise has no full release date yet.

Lords of the Fallen II

Release Date: TBA

CI Games confirmed a sequel to its 2023 Soulslike, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. No release date was given.

Saw: Genesis

Release Date: TBA

Bloober Team is publishing an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game set in the aftermath of World War 1. The game centers on a character called the Judge, a precursor to Jigsaw. A closed alpha sign-up opened the same day as the reveal.

1666: Amsterdam

Release Date: Early Access Later 2026

Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets finally revealed 1666: Amsterdam, a project that has been in development in various forms for roughly sixteen years. It is described as a time-bending witchcraft action game set in Amsterdam. A thirty-minute prologue is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with the game itself entering Early Access later this year.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Release Date: September 15, 2026

Already available in Early Access on PC, RuneScape: Dragonwilds received a September 15, 2026 release date for its full 1.0 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Virtua Fighter Crossroads

Release Date: 2027

Sega revealed Virtua Fighter Crossroads, a story-driven entry in the long-running fighting franchise set against a backdrop involving the Chinese mafia. The trailer leaned into narrative, though classic 3D fighter gameplay was also shown. Launching in 2027, with no platforms confirmed yet.

Gundam Rogue Orbit

Release Date: 2027

A third-person mech action game based on the Gundam franchise, described as fast-paced with deep mech customization. Launches in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush

Release Date: September 24, 2026

Milestone, the developer behind Hot Wheels Unleashed, is back with Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, launching September 24, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Crossfire

Release Date: TBA

That's No Moon, the studio founded by several Call of Duty veterans, revealed its debut game Crossfire, a cover-based shooter. The game stars Claudia Doumit and Ricky Whittle. No release date was given, but it is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Stranger Than Heaven

Release Date: January 15, 2027

RGG Studio's crime drama spanning five decades of Japanese history received a January 15 release date. The game is confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The new trailer also confirmed that Tupac Shakur will appear in the game alongside the previously announced Snoop Dogg and other celebrity cast members.

Blood Message

Release Date: TBA

NetEase's in-development Chinese action game received its biggest trailer yet, drawing early comparisons to God of War in terms of tone and visual style.

Gen Atlas

Release Date: TBA

A new trailer for Gen Atlas, the next project from Ico and Shadow of the Colossus director Fumito Ueda. The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with Epic Games Store exclusivity on PC meaning no Steam version. 

Alien: Isolation 2

Release Date: TBA

The official title for the sequel to Creative Assembly's 2014 survival horror game was confirmed as Alien: Isolation 2. Launching on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin

Release Date: TBA

Platinum Games, the studio behind Bayonetta and Nier: Automata, is developing a game adaptation of the acclaimed TMNT graphic novel The Last Ronin. It is the first title from Paramount Games Studio, a new conglomerate formed to adapt Paramount IP into games.

Haex

Release Date: TBA

A one-to-four player co-op survival FPS set in a Nordic wilderness overrun by aliens. Players scavenge for resources, manage body temperature and thirst, and uncover the fate of missing expeditioners. 

An Eggstremely Hard Game

Release Date: July 24, 2026

Up to four players control ducks trying to carry an egg safely home through increasingly chaotic obstacles. 

Cuphead Sequel and Mighty Cuphead Adventure

Release Date: TBA

Studio MDHR announced two new projects simultaneously. The first is a full sequel to Cuphead with no details beyond the announcement. The second is Mighty Cuphead Adventure, a spin-off that trades the hand-drawn Steamboat Willie art style for a more modern aesthetic while retaining the franchise's core gameplay. No release dates for either.

Resident Evil Veronica

Release Date: 2027

Capcom opened the show with the first trailer for Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of Code Veronica starring Claire Redfield. The trailer opens in Paris, France, where Claire is searching for her brother Chris. 

Among Us On Guard and Among Us Animated Series

Release Date: TBA (Among Us On Guard) / Available Now (Animated Series)

Innersloth announced Among Us On Guard, a new spin-off game with no release date yet. The Among Us animated series was also confirmed as available to watch immediately.
