UniPin, Southeast Asia and India’s leading digital entertainment enabler, hosted a strategic seminar in Seoul on October 23 titled “Expanding Beyond Borders: Real-Life Insights to Grow Your Business in SEA & India.” The event drew over 50 executives and developers from Korea’s gaming and content ecosystem, marking a new phase of collaboration between Korean publishers and emerging Asian gaming markets.

Southeast Asia's Gaming Ecosystem Generated Over $6 Billion in 2024

With over 14 years of operations across 34 global markets, UniPin leveraged its deep regional footprint to present data-driven insights into Southeast Asia and India. These regions collectively represent over 700 million gamers and some of the fastest mobile adoption rates worldwide. The Market Trends & User Insights session revealed that Southeast Asia’s gaming ecosystem generated over $6 billion in 2024, dominated by mobile titles, while India emerged as the world’s fifth-largest gaming economy by player count and in-app revenue growth.

UniPin’s CEO Ashadi emphasized that localized understanding is key for Korean publishers entering these vibrant yet complex markets. “Our goal is to help global partners expand with clarity and confidence. We’re here to share real-world insights, not just data, and empower partners to grow sustainably and authentically,” he said.

In the Marketing & Payment Systems session, UniPin showcased how its integrated ecosystem, spanning offline vouchers, e-wallet partners, and community-driven marketing, supports smooth regional entry. By aligning with cultural and payment behaviors unique to SEA and India, UniPin enables publishers to scale efficiently while enhancing players' in-game experiences. India’s growing digital payments penetration and mobile-first gamer base were spotlighted as primary catalysts for long-term engagement.

“We’re helping bridge creative ecosystems,” added Poeti Fatima, GM of UniPin Business Group. “Korean studios bring high production values, and markets like India and Indonesia bring massive, engaged audiences. This seminar created the dialogue needed to make those collaborations a reality.”
